The Apartment
The apartment is situated in a leafy square on the eastern edge of Edinburgh's famous New Town. It is only five minutes walk from the east end of Edinburgh's main shopping thoroughfare of Princes Street and is an even shorter walk to the ever increasing number of designer shops in Multrees Walk, including Louis Vuitton, Harvey Nichols and Emporio Armani.
The National Portrait Gallery in Queen Street and the Nelson Monument on Calton Hill are just two places of historical interest that are also both within easy walking distance.
Established in 1934, the famous and reputedly best stocked delicatessen in the UK, Valvona & Crolla, is one of the local shops which serve the property.
The Playhouse Theatre which hosts all the West End musicals is less than a two minute walk away, as is the Vue twelve screen multiplex cinema. The area also boasts a large and varied number of bars, restaurants, jazz and comedy clubs to keep you very well entertained in the evenings.
Due to it's very central location, this apartment is an ideal base from which to explore all Edinburgh has to offer.

Vestibule & Hall
The large airy vestibule still retains it's original 18th century flagstones on the floor.
It is elegantly furnished with a large table containing lots of Guest Information and there is ample space for hanging outerwear such as jackets and coats.
The space then opens out into a large welcoming Hall which has all rooms leading off.
Drawing Room
The Drawing Room is very large(27 feet long and 18 feet wide) with three Georgian windows, one of which is a large bay window. There is a large Georgian Fireplace with an electric 'stove style' fire. The room still retains all it's original cornice work.
It is very comfortably furnished with a four seater sofa, a three seater sofa ,which converts into a double bed and a large single armchair. The room also has a large flat screen television with cable channels and DVD player. For your convenience, the Drawing Room also has Internet access and a CD player.
Kitchen with Dining area
The apartment benefits from a very large and very well equipped Kitchen with an equally large separate Dining area. The room has two large windows with views out onto the park in Gayfield Square.

The fitted units are well equipped with pots, pans, crockery and glassware. This is an ideal space for sitting with a cup of coffee and planning your day or relaxing with a glass of wine while planning your evening ahead.
Dining Area
The Dining area is separated from the Kitchen by the 'island unit'. It is equally large and has a dining table that can easily sit 8 people(10-12 when extended). There is also a television which can be viewed from all areas of the room and a CD player.
Bathroom
The bathroom is spacious and tiled throughout. There is a bath with overhead shower, wash basin and WC. There is also a heated Towel Rail and an ample supply of good quality towels. Guest toiletries are supplied for your arrival.
Bedroom One

This double bedroom is to the back of the property and benefits from it's own en suite. It has a 'zip/link' bed (widely used in the hotel industry) which means it has the flexibility of being used as a twin room with 2 single beds or as a double room with 1 super king size bed. The bed linen is of a very good quality and the room is well furnished and has a hairdryer, TV (digital channels) and DVD player.
En Suite
The en suite to this room has floor to ceiling tiles, a walk in shower, wash basin & WC. It has Guest Toiletries and plenty of fluffy towels.
Bedroom Two

This double bedroom is to the front of the property and has it's own en suite. It has a super king size bed which has a 'zip/link' function which means that it can also be used as a twin room, giving extra flexibility. It is bright and airy and tastefully decorated. The room has a hairdryer, TV (digital channels) and DVD player.

There is gas central heating throughout the apartment and a constant supply of hot water.
